Linkages to Presidents

The table below lists all US presidents.  All but five have been identified with ancestors in common with the Prokasy family.  In most cases the common ancestors lived in the 13th-15th centuries, thus the relationship is typically one of very highly distant cousins.  There is little doubt that most Euro-Americans, were they to track their ancestries back to the middle ages, would be able to identify ancestors in common with US presidents and, for that matter, with a high percentage of other Euro-Americans.  Clicking on the links below will provide the common ancestor and the lineage to the particular president and to the Prokasy family.  It should also be noted that while only one descent is provided in each case, there are frequently multiple ones.  It is likely that not all, if any, provide the closest common ancestor, but what's listed is the closest found to date.  If there are errors identified in any of the lineages, I'd appreciate learning about them.  WFP
