Carolingian Empire
Below are listed the Carolingian Emperors* including the years of their reign. What is shown is the relationship between these emperors and me based on who has so far been identified as the closest male ancestor. *This was the pre-Holy Roman Empire dynasty. It gradually fell into disarray from the time of Arnulf, and there were no immediate successors to Berengar. All of the above were crowned by Popes, and some historians consider them as Holy Roman Emperors. No one was installed as an emperor after 924 until the installation of Otto I in 962. From then on the title of emperor was based on German kinship.
